Monument Valley

(Please click on the photo for larger image.)

Took this snap of East mitten and west mitten buttes in monument valley (Utah-Arizona border) around sunset, just when the shadows were starting to crawl up the mittens. When seen from another angle, the "thumb" of the larger mitten looks like a woman standing in a pensive mood.

Wow lucky you Nandan!

Do try to take take the Virgin River hike while you are @ Zions (if you have nt already done so). It is an amazing hike, you will need to give it an entire day almost...you hike through the shallow Virgin river and there are these rocky cliffs on both sides...the river; over the years has made interesting impressions on these cliffs...

Oh well...I could go on....bottomline...don't miss it! :)
